Closed Mold Process
Light Resin Transfer Molding (Light RTM) and Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) are versions of technology used to produce precision parts and components in a variety of industries, primarily focused on applications requiring close tolerances. With Closed Molding it is possible to produce better parts, in less time, with less waste and greatly reduced emissions.
By moving to Closed Mold you will:
• Find new solutions to meet MACT standards
• Make more consistent parts
• Obtain more consistent trimming of parts
• Make parts faster with fewer molds
• Reduce equipment damage
• Reduce post work
Closed Mold allows us to have a cleaner, more compliant and more productive manufacturing facility.
Open Mold Process
Open Mold Processes include spray-up and open contact molding
(hand lay-up) in one-sided molds. We use these low cost processes for making simpler low/high quantity run parts, repairs and other fiberglass composite products.
Industries Served:
• Utility Truck Parts
• Fiberglass Repair
• Agricultural
- Feeders
- Seed Boxes
- Water Tanks
• Novelty Re-production
Injection Molding
A fast, high-volume process capable of producing larger quantities of parts in less time than the traditional thermoplastic and metal casting process.
This process has the ability to create lightweight parts without sacrificing longevity and durability.
Below are uncoated handle guards that would protect a user's hands in the Utility Boom truck industry. As well as a "hub cap" custom engineered for the Mud Smith Gauge Wheel.
Rugged Shield™
