Closed Mold Process

Light Resin Transfer Molding (Light RTM) and Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) are versions of technology used to produce precision parts and components in a variety of industries, primarily focused on applications requiring close tolerances. With Closed Molding it is possible to produce better parts, in less time, with less waste and greatly reduced emissions.

By moving to Closed Mold you will:

Open Mold Process

Open Mold Processes include spray-up and open contact molding

(hand lay-up) in one-sided molds. We use these low cost processes for making simpler low/high quantity run parts, repairs and other fiberglass composite products.

Injection Molding

A fast, high-volume process capable of producing larger quantities of parts in less time than the traditional thermoplastic and metal casting process.

This process has the ability to create lightweight parts without sacrificing longevity and durability.

This custom floor coating developed and manufactured by Fiberglass Specialties, Inc. provides you with a long lasting, durable floor coating to protect your trailers. This water resistant coating can be applied to wood and aluminum floors which opens the door to be used with enclosed, open and stock trailers.
