Fiberglass Repair
Repair. Restore. Get Back to Work.
Damage doesn’t always mean replacement.
Fiberglass Specialties provides professional fiberglass repair services for commercial, industrial, agricultural, utility and specialty fiberglass components. From cracks and impact damage to worn or damaged equipment, our team can evaluate the problem and determine the best approach for restoring the component.
With more than three decades of fiberglass manufacturing experience, we understand how composite parts are built—and how to properly repair them.
Professional Fiberglass Repair
More Than a Cosmetic Fix
Fiberglass damage can happen for any number of reasons. Impact, heavy use, weather exposure, accidents and years of service can all take their toll.
A proper fiberglass repair isn’t simply about making the damaged area look better.
The damaged material needs to be evaluated, prepared and rebuilt using techniques appropriate for the component and its construction.
Our experience manufacturing fiberglass parts gives us an understanding of the materials and processes behind the component—not just the damage you can see on the surface.
Fiberglass Repair for Working Equipment
When Your Equipment Works Hard, Damage Happens
Commercial and industrial equipment operates in demanding environments. When a fiberglass component is damaged, replacing the entire component—or the equipment itself—may not be necessary.
Fiberglass Specialties repairs a variety of fiberglass parts and equipment, including:
- Utility truck components
- Fiberglass truck bodies
- Utility buckets
- Aerial lift components
- Agricultural equipment
- Feeders
- Seed boxes
- Water tanks
- Automotive fiberglass components
- Custom fiberglass parts
Whether it’s a component used every day or a specialized part that’s difficult to replace, we’ll evaluate the damage and determine whether repair is a practical solution.
Utility & Aerial Equipment Fiberglass Repair
Keep Your Equipment Working
Utility and service equipment is exposed to demanding conditions every day. Impacts, job-site damage and normal wear can leave fiberglass components cracked, chipped or otherwise damaged.
Fiberglass Specialties provides repair services for fiberglass utility truck components, aerial lift components, utility buckets and fiberglass truck bodies.
Our team can evaluate damaged components and determine an appropriate repair approach based on the condition and construction of the part.
Agricultural Fiberglass Repair
Repair Instead of Replace
Agricultural equipment doesn’t get an easy life.
Fiberglass components can be damaged by equipment, weather, repeated use and years of exposure. When replacement parts are expensive, difficult to locate or no longer manufactured, repair can provide another option.
Fiberglass Specialties repairs fiberglass agricultural components including feeders, seed boxes, water tanks and other fiberglass equipment.
Bring us the damaged component and we’ll help determine what can be repaired.
Cracks, Breaks & Impact Damage
We’ll Evaluate the Damage
Fiberglass damage isn’t always obvious from the surface.
A visible crack may extend beyond the area you can see, while an impact can damage the fiberglass laminate beneath the finished surface.
That’s why the first step is understanding the extent of the damage.
Depending on the component and its condition, a repair may involve removing damaged material, rebuilding the fiberglass laminate, restoring the shape of the component and refinishing the repaired area.
The objective is to restore the damaged area while preserving as much of the original component as practical.
Hard-to-Replace Parts
When Replacement Isn’t Easy
Older equipment and specialized machinery can present a frustrating problem:
The equipment still works, but the damaged part isn’t available anymore.
That’s where having both fiberglass repair and custom manufacturing capabilities becomes especially valuable.
If an existing component can be repaired, we’ll evaluate the repair.
If the damage is too extensive or the part isn’t a good candidate for repair, we can discuss whether reproducing the component as a custom fiberglass part is an option.
Can My Fiberglass Part Be Repaired?
We’ve Been Working With Fiberglass Since 1992
Fiberglass Specialties isn’t a general repair shop that occasionally works with composites.
Fiberglass manufacturing is what we do.
Since 1992, we’ve manufactured and worked with fiberglass components for customers across industrial, agricultural, utility, transportation and specialty applications.
That manufacturing experience carries directly into our repair work.
We understand fiberglass because we build with it every day.
Don't Replace It Until You Know It Can't Be Repaired
Before replacing an expensive or difficult-to-find fiberglass component, let us take a look.
Tell us what you have, what happened to it and how the component is used. We’ll help determine whether fiberglass repair is a practical option.
