About Fiber Line
Built on Fiberglass Experience. Built for the Working World.
Fiberline grew from the manufacturing experience of Fiberglass Specialties, Inc., a Watertown, South Dakota company that has been building fiberglass and composite products since 1992.
For decades, Fiberglass Specialties has worked with customers to manufacture custom components for utility, industrial, agricultural and commercial applications. That experience with fiberglass materials, custom molds, complex components and real-world working equipment created a natural opportunity to do something more.
Build complete fiberglass truck bodies designed specifically for the people who rely on them every day.
Today, Fiberline brings that manufacturing experience to service bodies, contractor bodies, utility bodies, saddle packs and custom work-truck solutions.
From Fiberglass Manufacturing to Fiberline
Experience That Became a Product Line
Fiber Line didn’t begin with a generic truck body and a new name.
It grew from years of experience manufacturing fiberglass components and working with equipment used in demanding industries.
Through Fiberglass Specialties, we developed the manufacturing capabilities and understanding necessary to create durable composite products for real working environments. Fiberline takes that experience one step further by creating complete fiberglass body solutions for commercial and utility vehicles.
It’s the same focus on practical manufacturing and durable fiberglass construction—applied specifically to the work truck industry.
Built for the Way You Work
Your Truck Is a Tool
For the professionals we serve, a truck isn’t simply a way to get from one job to the next.
It’s a mobile workspace.
Tools need to be organized. Equipment needs to be accessible. Storage needs to make sense. Specialized equipment needs somewhere to mount. And the entire body needs to stand up to the demands of daily work.
That’s why Fiberline bodies are designed around how the vehicle will actually be used.
From electrical and construction contractors to utility crews, cable operations, welders and field-service professionals, we build truck-body solutions for people who have work to get done.
Fiberglass Built for Work
Durable by Design
Fiberglass provides distinct advantages for vocational truck-body applications.
It won’t rust like traditional steel, offers excellent resistance to corrosion and weather, and provides the flexibility to manufacture specialized shapes and configurations without unnecessary weight.
Combined with decades of composite manufacturing experience, those characteristics allow Fiberline to produce work-truck bodies designed for years of demanding use.
Easier to Mount. Easier to Put to Work.
Designed With Installation in Mind
A great truck body shouldn’t create unnecessary headaches before it ever reaches the jobsite.
Fiberline service and contractor bodies are designed to bolt directly to existing chassis mounting locations, helping simplify installation and get the completed truck into service.
It’s one example of the practical thinking behind Fiberline:
Build the body around the needs of the people who install it and the people who use it.
More Than the Body
One Source for the Complete Build
A work truck is a system, not just a body.
Fiberline offers boxes, racks, crane mounts and tail shelves to help complete the vehicle and create a configuration designed around the work it needs to perform.
Service and contractor bodies are available from 6.5′ to 11′, while line and utility bodies range from 9′ to 17′. Saddle packs are available in single-, double- and triple-door configurations from approximately 2′ to 6’+.
And when a standard configuration doesn’t fit the application, we can build custom.
Custom Is in Our DNA
Backed by Fiberglass Specialties
One of Fiberline’s greatest strengths comes directly from where we started.
Fiberglass Specialties is a custom manufacturer.
That means we’re accustomed to customers coming to us with unusual requirements, specialized equipment and problems that don’t have an off-the-shelf solution.
Fiberline carries that same mentality into the work-truck market.
If your operation requires something different, talk to us. We’ll work with you to develop a configuration around your truck, equipment and application.
